finally, i got to see familiar faces today and opened my mouth to talk. because i had project meeting. matthew thought we were kidding about having a meeting so he didnt come. so i got to speak to caleb and tau today. and i bumped into ethel too

I GOT UP AT 4.30AM TO PEE AND THE PUBLIC TOILET IS SO DAMN SCARYYYYY.
none of my neighbours are singaporean. there’s malaysians, prcs, canadians and indian nationals. the indian nationals ordered pizza and are having a mini party at the kitchen right now. the supermarket has everything. but i cannot find my instant black sesame paste. guess i need to make a trip out of school tomorrow. i had redbean tauhuay&mango pudding for bfast today and its not too bad. astons has good chicken chop. dinner was japanese food from the canteen. its better than the one from the science canteen. i met zero friends/familiar faces today. 2 people greeted me goodmorning today. one was boyfriend and the other was the security guard doing his rounds.

my first night in my pgpr room = lonely. the excitement of living on my own has died down and when i sit on my bed, the small room suddenly feels too empty ): theres no sounds of tv and i dare not blast music from my laptop in case i get on my neighbours’ nerves. luckily boyfriend called me when i complained to him that i felt lonely & lousy.
which reminds me, our hp bills are going to go KABOOM very soon. because we will start chatting on our hps. sorry boyfriend, and i really appreciate your sacrifice haha. it feels good to hear the voice of a loved one at times like this.

the desktop water flask! i bought this with boyfriend on saturday (: it looks so purty on my desk i like it! but people gave me weird stares when i went down to the ground level to refill the bottle at the water cooler. OKAY.
i checked out the kitchen today too.
broken plates and dirty utensils at the sink. mums will never approve. as a home econs rep in sec sch, i do not approve of this too. tsk.
alright i miss my boyfriend even more now that my room is so super empty.
sometimes i feel that i blog inexcessively but i cannot help it.
and i only have one word to say in this post actually : WOW.
just got back from nus rovers bike-to-bite. i have not cycled for so long and you want me to nightcycle its insane. i thought i was destined to get knocked down by a car and die on the way to hospital but gladly, that didnt happen. claire & i were under germaine,alfred & lester’s lead. we cycled from east coast park to simpangbedok for prata, then to bugis for tongshui (yes i had my black sesame paste. and i didnt know there tongshui at bugisssssssss! OMG) took a little tour around clarke quay area & orchard before heading back to selegie for rochor tauhuay BUT IT WAS CLOSED by the time we got there ): so we ended up having tauhuay at geylang before heading back to ecp.
speaking of geylang, i was utterly horrified by what i saw there. i know geylang & prostitution comes nearly hand in hand but i didnt know that it was SO BAD. my idea of geylang prostitution was something that takes place only in those dark back alleys and was discreet. i was wrong! i saw this couple who were walking in the open pavement (okay it was away from the crowd but still……..) and the guy was groping the woman’s breast from behind & half her blouse was rolled up. i swear i heard the woman gave a loud moan at least 20m away. woman with spilling cleavage tracing her fingers along the non-existent muscles on an old man’s upper arm. scantily-clad women stood along the streets openly waiting to get picked up by men. i even overheard one man asking this lady in a tight green dress “how much” along the pavement. I AM 100% DISGUSTED. i cant imagine a girl willing to sell her body for money. i cant imagine having sex with old men who are strangers. i cant imagine having sex with anyone else other than my other half. but all that i cant imagine happened right before my eyes. YUCK. i will never forgive my hubby if he ever visits these kind of sleazy places or hold another woman in his arms. GROSS. my first experience in redlight district makes me want to throw up.
i just got back from pgp. jacky drove me back there at night and helped me cleaned the room upside down & inside out. im so glad he was there because he threw a dead bug & a dead cockroach out of the window & killed a spider. i think i will be very happy to lie down on my bed even though its as hard as a stone bench because he laid the bedsheet for me <3
i tried to make the room look a bit more cheerful by bringing colourful stuffs there but somehow it still looks kind of dull ): maybe its the lack of lamp brightness, or the dirty stained walls or simply the lack of entertainment. i wanted to get a pet fish or sth small and not smelly but theres some rules about prohibition of pets so i think i will end up having cactus. a baby mobile would be nice, or pretty revolving night light/ fairy light-chains will do the trick. but where am i going to get those!?

edit: AND MY PARENTS. my mum is so cute today. she was out shopping with my aunt and called me to ask if i want a new set of pyjamas because she saw a really sweet & lovely set. she sounded so excited it was as if she striked lottery. and not forgetting her cooking – i was making so much noise and nodding my head at every mouthful of the food at yuanxiao dinner it nearly sounded obscene. IM GOING TO MISS HER. (okay and daddy too because dad spoils me alot) :D
more room furnishing tomorrow! i need to make a list of what i need to get. pop by ikea, maybe?
byy crashed the cosmetics lecture yesterday since she had to come down to nus to submit some forms (: then we went to collect the keys to my room in pgp. the room is………… small. but enough for me to lock myself in and mug myself silly on weekdays. my block is pretty accessible since the minimart&multipurpose hall is just right below and im right smack inbetween the canteen, foodcourt and cafe. and i overlook the tennis and basketball courts. i guess emailing the office and scolding them was the right thing to do afterall HAHA.
yuan xiao dinner was superb. i love my mum’s cooking best. her soups are fabulous & although im allergic to prawns, i sneaked two wasabi mayo prawns last night because they were SO tempting. my relatives came over and my place had such a joyous mood it didnt feel like its the last day of chinese new year haha.
i wanted to spring a surprise on jacky by going over to his place but HE GUESSED IT. there was no element of surprise at all when i happily skipped down the stairs from his room and shouted ‘HELLO’ when the family returned from their yuanxiao dinner. instead, his sisters and mum were more surprised than he was.
although jacky’s mum didnt really fancy the idea of staying in hostel, she actually asked if i want their extra 21-inch tv for the room ZOMG.
then i stayed over and his parents sent me to school in the morning after sending the boy to his camp.
